Jenny Perkins Lead Singer

I will keep this short. My musical journey started at a very young age. I started singing in my dad's band at a very young age. I started singing in clubs/bars at 12 years old and started playing guitar at gigs when I was about 13. We did very well in our local area, winning “Best Local Cover Band” and “Best Local Vocal.” I stayed with my dad's band until I was 19 years old. We made a pretty good living and popular reputation performing 4-7 nights a week for 7 years. I continued to perform in the band, as well as attending college. Once I graduated college, I went off on my own and started an original band called, “The Jenny Project” with some amazing local musicians. We did very well, selling all our CDs the first week of its release and 600 at our CD release party. At 21 years old, I moved to Florida from Boston, thinking the music scene was better. I checked out a couple of open jams to see what the musicianship was like. In 2000, I sat in with a band and that is where I met drummer Kevin Jonas. We became good friends and joined another band together years later. Eventually, I joined a band. We did very well with the local scene. I worked in a cover band 4 nights a week, and a Duo group 2 nights a week. We received a lot of recognition and on several occasions were hired to perform for prominent celebrities that live in the Palm Beach area. In 2012, I removed myself from the music scene due to a dangerous situation with someone who stole my original material, stalked, and spread lies about me. I never stopped singing. I sang solo in churches, restaurants, and community events. In 2017, Kevin called me and asked me to join him in an R&B, Funk band. This is where I met Bass Player Tommy Snellgrove. In 2019, we met Guitarist/Vocalist Todd Jones, Pianist/Vocalist Peter Valentine. Shortly thereafter, I was introduced to Pianist/Vocalist Bob Ardito. We have all been in many versions of bands, some with each other here and there. But we all came together this time. This band is so versatile, talented, fun, and seasoned. I am very grateful to have these guys as bandmates, but most of all as friends.
